The Room
Man, it has been crazy the last couple of week. I wish I could have updated as I went, but I haven't found the time between in-service, out-service, and setting up the room. Tonight was a 'Meet the Teacher' night, and so it was nice to meet some of my students and parents. However, it also meant that it was my deadline for setting up the classroom. I got the organizational part, but the decoration and bulletin boards will be my focus for tomorrow.
I am very excited about my door. It came out better than I envisioned. As I change the door throughout the school year, I will keep the mustache on top. If you have noticed, it is kind of my theme :)
This is the general view of the classroom. It doesn't include my computer area and bulletin boards to the left, my desk to the right, and my rug area in front.
These are my valances. They are different colored mustaches. I wanted curtains, but I didn't have enough fabric. They look great though, so no complaints here!
I got these bad boys at the Dollar Tree, and they couldn't be more perfect. Now, if I could find the motivation to finish leveling all my books ;)
